Activities

• Kick Off Assembly - On Thursday evening prior to Symposium
• Instant Gallery - Show your segmented creation
• Trade Show- Buy that tool or supplies you know you need. A large room is dedicated for vendors to show, and sell, their products. It is a great opportunity to see what new products are being offered and talk to the vendors in a low-key environment.
• Turning Swap- Bring a segmented turning for a random exchange with another attendee. Make a segmented piece of your choice for the turning exchange. The piece will be on display in the Instant Gallery until Saturday evening. During the banquet, two names will be drawn and those two people will get there pieces and swap them. Its enjoyable and a great way to build your collection.
• Raffle- Win great prizes in the raffle. Vendors help to sponsor our symposium by donating a wide variety of their products. These items are grouped together in packages and raffle tickets are sold at 1 for $5 or 5 for $20. Winners will be announced at the banquet but you do not need to be present to win.
• Beads of Courage Box collection- Bring a BOC box to donate, Bring one or more BOC boxes and place them in the designated collection area. All donations will be given to Lurie Childrens hospital in Chicago.
