Companion Program

1. Visit the Spouse Lounge to meet and socialize with other spouses during the day.
2. An area will be set up with tables and sewing machines to make bead bags. These bags will be donated to the Beads of Courage organization for distribution to children facing cancer and other serious treatment programs at Lurie Childrens Hospital in Chicago. All materials will be provided. It's an excellent charity and an opportunity to socialize with other spouses. Come to the Lincoln room on the second floor between 9-12 on Friday or Saturday.
   
3. Spouse/Partners can join in a tour of the Chicago Botanic Garden - 365 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens and greenhouses. 100-year-old bonsai, exotic plants, and walking trails. A gem of the Chicago north shore. The trip will begin at 9am on Friday with a short bus ride to the gardens. The visit will start with a 35-minute narrated tram ride around the gardens. After the tram ride you can either walk the gardens on your own or take a guided walking tour past the Japanese Gardens, waterfalls, English Garden, Rose Garden, 100-year-old Bonsai Garden and much more. The Tour will end in the gift shop before traveling back to the hotel around 12:30PM. This trip is limited to the first 42 people to register.
