2024 Vessel Zebrano form Open Minded

Presentations

  • Segmented Domed Base - Just another way to create the base on your vessel. This technique uses a continuous curve through the bottom and then directs it back up into the inside, creating a sealed vessel and another point of interest.
  • A Different Approach to Open Segmenting - Let's explore something a bit different in open segmenting. The use of unique shapes and designs in the feature ring and in the body of the piece can add a new twist, along with and instead of, conventional open and closed segmented construction.
  • Feature rings Part 1 - Creating an easy classic segmented design will be the topic in Part 1. I'll show how I get nice clean bold patterns with little effort or expertise.
  • Feature rings Part 2 - Now that you have your segmented design pieces, How do we incorporate that into a completed ring and then size that for inclusion into a vessel? I'll try to explain a simple way to finish off a great simple feature ring.
