Malcolm has been inspiring segmented woodturners to new levels of excellence for 2 decades. This included writing the book “The Art of Segmented Woodturning” which is considered a segmenting bible by many turners. He invented numerous creative techniques including ribbons and tubular construction and has pushed the limits of these techniques. These techniques and many more have been shared through a series of 8 DVD’s. Malcolm was also instrumental in the creation of the Segmenting chapter in 2009 after organizing the first segmenting symposium with two other segmenters.
