Hello to all my fellow turners.  My name is Terry Reeves from the state of Illinois.  I started segmented woodturning in 2013.  I knew I had finally discovered what I was meant to do.  My inspiration came from Ray Allen, who was a real master segmented woodturning.  The elegant forms and intricate designs presented me with the challenge I needed to recreate their everlasting beauty in wood. I believe that I have captured through trial and error, the same satisfaction in viewing a completed piece as those who have inspired me.  I was so excited to win this year 1st place at the Illinois State Fair Fine Arts & Craft show in my division.  Looking forward in meeting everyone in October.
